Useful Small Gifts For Women

Since the holidays are right around the corner, I thought I’d focus this blog on useful small gifts for women. I thought of this because I have four close girlfriends with whom I celebrate the holidays every year.

Our gifts for one another usually range from $25-35. I would say at most we probably have spent $50 per gift. Below are several ideas on useful small gifts for women that are $50 or less.

These useful small gifts for women could also be considered as stocking-stuffer ideas, too! Be sure to check out my widget below for a visual list of some of the recommended gifts.

This post is all about useful small gifts for women.

Affordable Cashmere Gift Ideas

“Cashmere? Cashmere isn’t affordable. It’s expensive”, you may be thinking. Stay with me now…You can find affordable options like socks. Okay, okay, now, your other thought may be, “Socks? That’s usually what grandmas give!”

Every year, I would gift my brothers some socks. One year, I didn’t gift them any, and one of them was disappointed I didn’t buy him socks. He told me that he never buys himself socks and always looked forward to the goofy holiday socks I usually get him.

The same goes for my young adult daughters. They rarely ever buy themselves socks. This isn’t something they want to “waste” their money on. But when it’s gifted, it’s usually a favorite.

However, let’s step this one up when we’re talking about useful small gifts for women. Think cashmere….Yes, cashmere socks. You can find a pair for less than $30! I know that’s pricey for a pair of socks.

And yes, usually we wouldn’t spend that much on ourselves for one pair of socks (think bulk bargain at Costco), but this is a gift so it should be a little extra. Click here to check out a pair I’ve linked for you to take a look at.

Cashmere not only elevates your gift, but it’s a luxury most people wouldn’t consider getting for themselves. It’s such a great treat for their feet!

Another cashmere idea that’s also on the more affordable side is cashmere gloves. This, too, was gifted to me over a decade ago, and I still have it. It’s such a thoughtful and useful gift.

The fact that it’s cashmere makes it so much more splendid and lush because this is something that I’m always grateful for in the cold. Not only does it keep my hands warm, but it also feels super soft and looks elegant.

They’re also great to carry around in your purse during cold weather. Don’t forget to check out my widget at the bottom of this post, where I list a couple of options. I’ve also linked a pair of cashmere gloves here for you to check out. They’re less than $30 from Quince!

Chanel As A Gift? Check Out Chanel’s Most Affordable Item

Here’s the thing: I never spent much on cuticle oil. However, last Christmas, I gifted my girlfriends a high-end cuticle oil after I saw my cousin using it at a family gathering.

What caught my attention was when she casually whipped out a little Chanel bottle and started applying it to her fingertips. When I asked her what it was, she told me it was the Chanel cuticle oil (you can check it out by clicking here).

I thought it was the most luxe thing I’ve seen in a while. She said she likes using it when she’s sitting around watching TV, waiting at the airport, or whenever her cuticles are just feeling a little dry.

Again, I don’t think this is something most people would splurge on. So getting it as a gift makes it that much more special. I will say it does have a strong floral scent.

Although I like the scent, you do want to keep that in mind when purchasing for others who are sensitive to scents. Once more, this is another little luxurious treat that they can throw into their bag and use on the go!

Must-Have Purse Essential: Hand Lotion and or Hand Sanitizer

I don’t know about you, but I go through a lot of hand lotions. They can range from cheap to expensive hand lotions. I usually receive the expensive ones as gifts, and I’m always so grateful for the upgrade from my cheap ones.

Last year, my girlfriend gifted us an Aesop hand cream and sanitizer set (unfortunately, I can’t find it online anymore). The fragrance was light and natural, and the hand cream was such a treat.

I still carry the hand sanitizer with me til this day. It’s great to have in my purse for when I need to quickly sanitize my hands.

On one of my girlfriend’s birthdays, she received a super lavish hand cream from Dior. I thought that was such a nice gift because, again, this isn’t something most people would spend so much money on for themselves.

Dior’s price point is out of range for this blog post, but I wanted to share that gifting a nice hand cream is such a great idea. The same goes for a luxurious hand sanitizer.

Luxury Toothpaste As A Gift? Heck Yeah, It’s Useful!

Okay, okay, I know you may be thinking, “What the heck? Socks, now toothpaste?!” But hear me out. A few months ago, I was staying at a girlfriend’s and forgot to bring toothpaste. I mentioned to her that I needed to run to the store and get some.

Instead, she let me use hers, and I loved it! I loved it so much I searched for it online. The toothpaste is called EUTHYMOL Original Pink Toothpaste, which I’ve linked here for you (click this link).

It is a little spicy because it’s super minty and took a little getting used to. But oh my, did it make my mouth feel so clean! It is a little on the pricier side for toothpaste, but not a break-the-bank kind of price.

You can also make this gift into a kit, like what you get at a dental office, but make it fancy. If the person you’re gifting already has a toothbrush, like one of those automatic ones, then include a tongue scraper and floss instead. Click here for the tongue scraper and here for the floss.

I’ve also linked Euthymol’s toothbrush here, in case you wanted to check it out, too. They come in a variety of colors! They also have this cute gift set with a classic squeezer (click here).

Another cool gift set option is this Marvis toothpaste set for less than $50 for a set of seven that would be the perfect gift (click here)! These fancy toothpastes make great stocking stuffers as well!

Compact Mirror, Huge Impact

This is another item that was gifted to me during a bacholerette party. The one I received was from Kate Spade. It still sits on my nightstand a decade later.

I don’t carry it in my purse, because I find it so useful right next to my bed. Whenever I have something in my eye or teeth, I am so glad it’s right next to me because the one I received is super pretty.

Every time I get a glimpse of it, I immediately feel sentimental. Of course, it’s small enough for them to slip it into their purse, too, if they choose.

I’ve found some really cute ones from Anthropologie that I’ve linked here for you to take a look at as well.

Everyone Can Always Use Luxury Towels

Great towels are another idea for useful small gifts for women! It could be for the kitchen, hands, or body.

If you plan on gifting for the body, I’d suggest getting a nice quality set. You only need to get one because if they have more, they can always assign these specific towels to themselves if they have a family.

The two towel sets I spent extra money on are only used by me and not by other family members. It’s a treat for myself.

The more expensive towels were definitely a game-changer for me (I spent $50 per set, which included a hand towel and body towel in each set).

I can definitely tell the difference between my high-end towels versus my lower-end towels. They’re a lot softer and dry faster. Plus, after several washes, they stayed fluffy as if they were still brand new.

You don’t have to consider only body towels. Kitchen towels or hand towels are also great options! Everyone can use more than what they have when it comes to towels. Just spend a little more on them than what the person you’re gifting would pay.

You can find great quality hand towels for less than $35. Check out these Turkish hand towels that come in a set of two from Quince (click this link)!

I swear you can find some really great deals from Quince. Want something a little less boring? Click here to check out this hand towel from Missoni that speaks fun and luxury for less than $50!

What makes these useful small gifts elevated is that you’re spending a little extra, versus what they would spend on themselves. Plus, with these small gifts, you don’t have to break your bank buying them a higher-end brand.

These are items most people would not likely think about paying so much for. Like cuticle oil or toothpaste? Usually, an affordable kind from the drugstore would suffice for the average person.

But getting gifted a luxury or high-end brand is where it gets exciting. I also feel like these are less wasteful gifts because they are things they can use.

Hopefully, this blog post helps inspire you on your gifting journey, especially with the upcoming holiday season!
