Best Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas For Her

Valentine’s is right around the corner. This means, if you celebrate, you gotta lock in to treating your special someone with a nice gift. Worry no more, here I share some tips on what to look for when gifting your special someone. I also break it up into categories so you can easily scroll to the section that you think she may be into.

Have you taken a moment to think about what your girl likes? Here are some questions to ask yourself. What are her hobbies? Does she like skincare? Makeup perhaps? No, okay. Does she like books? The reason I’m asking you is because I want you to ask yourself these questions to get the ball rolling on things she likes. This way, it can help inspire you to get something she may value and find useful.

Okay, now that we got the brain going and thinking, let’s list out some things I think she would like, since I am a mom to three daughters and have some experience with gift giving. I’ve been told several times that I’m actually a great gift-giver.

Let’s start with the skin care…

Skincare Sweetheart

If she loves to take care of her skin, these suggestions will certainly be a hit. The suggestions below also include different price ranges for every budget.

Starting strong with something uber luxurious, you can gift her with the creme de la creme of moisturizers. Or in this case, the creme de la mer moisturizer, La Mer. This is definitely a splurge if she isn’t already indulging in this cream, but a splurge that would be greatly appreciated since it does have such a high price tag.

I know from my own experience that I was gifted this a couple of times and have always appreciated it because it’s not something I could justify spending so much money on. But as a gift, it’s totally treasured, valued, and loved. And might I add, used til the very last drop!

Although this cream may be expensive, it works wonders for my sensitive skin. This means it works well with most skin types. The smell is light and beautiful, not at all overpowering for those who are also sensitive to smell. It also makes your skin feel so hydrated and overall just beautiful.

Need something more affordable? Another suggestion is the Beauty of Joseon Day Dew Sunscreen Lightweight SPF 50. Everyone can use SPF, even you! Again, if she is into skincare, then I’m more than positive she’s also protecting her skin from the sun.

I chose Beauty of Joseon because, currently, Korean skincare is super popular. Also, I like how it’s SPF 50. A long time ago, I was listening to another nurse at a conference say that anything higher than SPF 50 really doesn’t make a difference. I never researched that statement thoroughly. Since I’ve heard it, I haven’t looked for anything higher than SPF 50.

Another popular skincare product currently is red light therapy. Red light therapy has many benefits, one of which is to promote cell repair and growth for a more youthful appearance. There are so many options out there, and it can get pricey. The one Iinked here is similar to the one I have. Although it can be considered expensive, it’s not as expensive as others on the market.

And if you really want to treat her, you can make her a basket with all the items I’ve listed above (if it’s within your budget).

I wanted to include makeup in this list, but that can get tricky because of colormatching etc. Instead, here are other best Valentines Day gift ideas for her.

Workout Woman

Have an active person in your life? Here are other best Valentines Day gift ideas for her. This category can get expensive, too. Let’s start with something simple, like a tank top from Lululemon, linked here. I chose this because I have two of these tanks and love them. I also find other women in my pilates class also loving them, too, and here’s why…

They hit at the right length and are super flattering on all women. If I could, I would have them in all colors, but I stayed safe and chose gray and black. If you decide to get this for your workout woman, I’m sure she would appreciate this useful gift!

Other best Valentines Day gift ideas for her can also be outerwear for before or after a workout, like this Varley half-zip linked here. It’s super cute and easy for her to throw over her workout clothes. It’s also versatile and can go with a lot of different fits, whether for a workout or out for coffee.

Another useful gift is this Everywhere belt bag by Lululemon, also linked here. Both my daughter and I have this and take it to all our workout classes. It’s small enough to be convenient to grab for a quick class. Yet big enough to hold your essentials, like keys, cards, phone, lip product, and a small bottle of SPF.

Another item to consider are the Bala Bangles (click here). These have been super popular amongst workout babes. They’re cute and easy to use. Just slide them on your wrist or ankle and go about your day!

Still not finding something that you think she will like? No worries! Keep reading… I’m sure you will find the best Valentines Day gift ideas for her.

Cooking Cutie

Does she love to cook? Well, here are some ideas she’s sure to love and find useful. I currently have this Instant Pot 8-quart 11-in-1 linked here and love it! My adult kids used to bug me about getting an airfryer when they first came out. But the thought of another kitchen gadget taking up counter space really put me off.

However, after doing much research, I decided on the 11-in-1. If I were going to purchase something that takes up counter space, it might as well be useful and multipurpose. The 11-ion-1 is an airfryer, dehydrater, sous vide, pressure cooker, steamer, and more! Definitely, one of my favorite kitchen purchases to date. I will warn you, though, that it is a huge appliance weighing in at close to 16lbs.

Don’t forget to make it cute, though, since it is Valentine’s Day. Cook her a dinner using it or have some cookies baking in it.

Another great gift for your cooking cutie is this Le Creuset Enameled Signature Cast Iron French Oven 2 1/2 Quart. It comes in so many cute colors (you can get red or pink to symbolize Valentine’s Day), and the enameled cast iron will for sure step her cooking game up! I have a few enameled cast-iron cookware pieces, some of which I’ve handed down to my kids. Not only will it last long, but it can last through generations.

Another cute idea is to gift her is the Magnolia Table cookbook by Joanna Gaines. This cookbook offers recipe classics like chicken pot pie, mac and cheese, and also fun recipes like fried chicken and sticky poppy seed jam. This cookbook has been a favorite in our home that my daughter took it and never gave it back!

This leads me into the next category for book lovers, the bookworm babe!

Bookworm Babe

Do you have a bookworm babe? Here are other best Valentines Day gift ideas for her. Check out this Amazon Kindle 6″ E-reader here. I recently bought this for my youngest daughter this Christmas. Now all my daughters and I have one. My middle daughter was the first to purchase a Kindle a few years ago. She convinced me to get one, and I’m so glad she did.

What sold me is that she and I both wear glasses. She told me that at night she’ll enlarge the font on her readers and read in the dark without her glasses on. This makes reading so much easier for her at night. It’s also nice to have for traveling because it’s light and easy enough to slip into your bag. Camping? No problem! It has such a long battery life, and the backlight helps make reading easy in dark tents. Honestly, I’ve left my Kindle alone for months without having to recharge it.

Another benefit is that some local libraries have a downloadable app that allows you to check out books for free. Need another idea? How about something that will keep her warm when she reads?

Consider something to wrap herself in while she cozies up to read. One Christmas, I asked for a 100% wool blanket. It was a gift I found useful, especially on cold nights, but something I also found quite expensive. When I opened my present, I was so excited to get such a luxurious gift!

Here’s an option I’ve linked that, although expensive, is a lot more affordable than the one I was gifted. Plus, it’s super cute and probably super soft since it’s 100% cashmere! Mine is 100% wool. Although it’s warm, it can also be considered scratchy to some.

Step it up, and instead of getting her a card, get her a journal with a personalized sweet message written by you inside. Something like this, linked here, is a great option and plays into the theme of Valentine’s with its bright red cover.

Hopefully, you can find something from these best Valentines Day gift ideas for her here. Remember, Valentine’s isn’t about the gift but about the love. And with love comes thought. So even if you don’t find something here, you can always find something from your heart that you can express to her.

Some of my best Valentine’s Day gifts were from my children. They were handwritten cards that brought me to tears. So remember to enjoy the day and love the moment you have.

Thanks for reading!

Love, Sutivi
